Seeds and leaves
When the leaves of a Northern Red Oak are full grown the are dark green and smooth, in the autumn the leaves are red. The leaves can grow 5 to 10 inches long. An acorn is the Northern red oak's seed. They fall from the tree in Autumn. Inside of a acorn you can find a nut. Squirrels like to eat acorns.
